Reflexology is the manipulation of the feet in order to access reflex points which correspond to different organs, glands and parts of the body. Reflexology is old. Like, really old. Evidence of manipulation of the feet in order to heal was found as early as 2330 B.C. on the tomb of Ankmahor.
At RadCo Relax we put our own spin on this time honored treatment. The RadCo difference is that we work from the knee down, adding leg stretches from Thai Massage. We include structural arch work to improve posture and gait. And we finish it off with a lengthy, therapeutic foot massage which includes cupping for the calves and feet.
We honor and revere the old practices while adding updated techniques that benefit the whole client.
Our feet are pretty darn amazing. On top of being the foundation of our posture and balance, they have supported us all our lives, bearing our weight, literally, as we walk through this world. Most of us have a habit of shoving these amazing feet into shoes that are sometimes not exactly foot shaped.
